The Dimension Data University (DDU) is the umbrella body for all training and development.

Through its Broad-Based Empowerment Trust, Dimension Data empowers 35 broad-based provincial organisations that provide support and care to over 45 000 vulnerable individuals in their communities across all nine provinces. Its Enterprise Development programme invests in sustainable development for communities and supports results-focused entrepreneurial opportunities within communities.

The aim is to reach 40,000 learners by 2015.
