Nine years ago we welcomed new ownership – Barloworld Limited acquired Avis Southern Africa in 2005. This was a major turning point for us as we were able to take a market leadership position due to Barloworld’s relationships with leading international brands like Toyota and Volkswagen and we were also able to generate added value by selling our ex-fleet vehicles through our own dealerships.
We have employed a unique approach – we stand by our customers’ side – to see what they see. This approach has been of great value to us in helping us to develop our fleet solutions. It has given us the opportunity to really get to know our customers’ needs and develop a thorough understanding of the systems that drive their businesses. In tandem with this philosophy has been our goal to acquire and develop smart reporting platforms in order to provide our clients with the best information technology solutions available.
